The Black Fish is influenced by the rocket fish that Clyde Beatty Jr was making in the late 70s. A narrower version of Bill’s quad fish with more rocker and the CT-XX bottom shape making use of a concave entry with rail relief and a double concave spiral “V” inside a single and back to single concave behind the fins all of which assist with more reaction from loading up turns.
