FCS II Gabriel Medina PC + AirCore Tri Fins

Gabriel Medina's illustrious 3 x WSL World Titles were paved with the reliability of the Performer template. Since day one, Gabs has used this fin template in all his boards, at every location, but as his body grew stronger his signature set required a tweak.

Medina's signature set is now spec'd with a downsized centre fin delivering a balance of speed, flow, and quick and easy tail release.

The Performer template has long been celebrated for its adaptability, ensuring a consistent and dependable feel across diverse surf conditions from beach breaks to point breaks.

“Yeah, I really like the Performer template, that's what I've been riding for many years, since the start of my career. My go-to size is the XL”. - Gabriel Medina

This latest GM Performer also incorporates AirCore technology; a custom flex pattern that sits between the PC and PC Carbon constructions. This flex strikes the perfect balance of drive, power and explosive flair through turns.

“The flex feels super consistent; I ride it everywhere in big waves and small waves… Performance Core construction is for anybody and any conditions really”.

Medina’s fin has also undergone a graphic update to better represent his style, colour preference and ease of board pairing.

“I’ve been watching footage of myself surfing with the new fins and they’re really sick. They look so beautiful and so classic, and I like how white and black can go on any board.” - Gabriel Medina

What also distinguishes this template is the concaved inside face known as Inside Foil Technology (IFT), a design element that enhances grip on the wave face and helps surfers sustain momentum throughout their turn pathway.

“FCS come to me with new ideas, new colours, new materials… and we always talk about how we can try to make the fins better. So yeah, I'm stoked on my new fins”.

  • Performer template with signature GM flex + downsized centre fin
  • PC + AirCore construction
  • Designed for balance of speed, flow & easy tail release
  • Inside Foil Technology (IFT)

Ideal Conditions: All Conditions

Board Types:

  • Designed to fit the FCS II System
  • Recommended for all board types

Fins with AirCore Technology feature a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin. AirCore technology reduces the amount of fibreglass required in the RTM moulding process, making it much lighter while allowing total manipulation of the flex.
